Cristin Zeisler is the Interim Director for Senior Outreach and Pro Bono at Bet Tzedek. She has supported Bet Tzedek in a variety of leadership roles since 2005, when she became Director of Pro Bono Services at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips LLP. There, she helped create Bet Tzedek’s national Holocaust Survivor Justice Network (HSJN) in 2007 and oversaw its largest-ever national pro bono network until her retirement from Manatt.
Since then, Cristin has overcome a life-threatening brain injury (2011), earned a Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree from USC (2018), and founded the Cognition Center, a home-based therapy practice that served clients from 2019–2026. Throughout the years and on top of these endeavors, she repeatedly returned to Bet Tzedek in interim leadership roles, including Director of Pro Bono (twice before this), Director of Small Business, Vice President of Legal Services, Director of the Low-Income Tax Initiative, and Director of the Medical-Legal Partnership at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.
Cristin earned her J.D. from William & Mary Law School and her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from USC, although she will always be a Bruin at heart. She brings expertise in optimizing performance for staff, students, and volunteers along with a passion for delivering whole-person, client-centered services. She is also a Certified Geriatric Care Professional, specializing in care planning and coordination for older adults.
