Legal Clinic for Gender Changes

Thanks to the work of hundreds of transgender activists, advocates, and allies from around California, a new law removes the strict requirement that a person has to prove that they have had surgery before getting a court order recognizing their gender change. Bet Tzedek, along with the L.A. Gay and Lesbian Center Transgender Economic Empowerment Project, is cosponsoring a free legal clinic that will discuss the new law, other legal issues surrounding it, and answer some of your questions.
